Tom Synott

Tom is a Partner at Briffa who specialises in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property exploitation and enforcement. He has particular experience advising clients in the technology, media and fashion sectors.

Tom is a keen film buff and also works for a number of clients in the film and television industries: he is a regular speaker at the National Film and Television School where he teaches students about the importance of securing their intellectual property rights.

In addition, he provides advisory services to members of the Federation of Commercial Audiovisual Libraries (FOCAL International) and the Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union (BECTU).
