Raphael is a Solicitor at Briffa, advising on a wide range of Intellectual Property (“IP”) matters, including contentious and non-contentious and acting for a wide range of clients.
Prior to joining Briffa, Raphael spent several years working as an in-house legal counsel, focusing on commercial and contractual matters whilst advising the company in relation to subject matters such as Information Technology (“IT”), IP, Data Protection and Artificial Intelligence. Raphael’s experience working in-house allows him to understand the necessities of a commercial organisation whilst also ensuring that the relevant commercial risks are minimised. His passion for IP comes through a keen interest in the ever-increasing intersection of IP and IT, alongside his passion for music and video games.
