Phoebe is a Solicitor at Briffa, advising on both contentious and non‑contentious matters across the full spectrum of Intellectual Property (IP) issues, as well as related commercial issues. She acts for a range of IP-rich clients on trade mark and design portfolio management, across a variety of sectors.
Prior to joining Briffa, Phoebe managed a varied caseload of UK and international trade mark and design work with full autonomy at a start-up IP firm and trained at a City law firm spanning commercial and corporate work. She also gained experience supporting a national law firm’s commercial team, working in-house on regulatory compliance and contract review, and advising as a legal consultant on art and IP law, contracts and employment matters. This varied and diverse background has given Phoebe a strong commercial perspective alongside her technical legal expertise.
