Daniel Crate
Dan helps clients resolve a wide range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.
Dan enjoys helping creative clients maximise the value of their IP assets including their copyright, designs, trade marks and confidential information.
Prior to joining Briffa, Dan worked at a firm in Surrey as a dispute resolution solicitor where he obtained significant experience assisting commercial clients of various sizes resolve disputes, including defamation and IP issues. As a result, Dan is well placed to understand the wider commercial implications of ensuring contracts are drafted appropriately to help protect his clients in the event disputes arise.
He is a member of IPSoc (a society dedicated to junior IP practitioners). Outside of work he enjoys open water swimming, writing and live music.
