Chiagozie is a Solicitor at Briffa, advising on both contentious and non‑contentious matters across the full spectrum of Intellectual Property (IP), as well as related commercial and data protection issues. She acts for a wide range of IP‑rich clients, from early‑stage businesses and start‑ups through to established brands and rights‑holders, working across all sectors of the firm.
Prior to joining Briffa, Chiagozie gained specialist experience in patents, telecommunications, and FRAND disputes at an international law firm. She also worked across a wide range of legal environments, gaining experience in trade marks, banking, disputes and technology matters at a leading global e‑commerce retailer, an American law firm, a barristers’ chambers and a start‑up legal services provider. This diverse background enables Chiagozie to combine technical legal expertise with a strong commercial and strategic perspective when advising clients.
Background and qualifications
Chiagozie completed her LLB in Law with European Law at the University of Nottingham, including a year abroad studying European and International Law at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. She went on to complete an LLM in Masters of Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP University.
Chiagozie joined Briffa in 2026 as a Solicitor.
