Looking for a perfect Autumn treat?  Visit the Fragrance Floor at Fortnum and Mason. I was there recently to visit our Client Grossmith an experience worth going out of your way for. Grossmith is a one of England’s oldest perfume houses and has been revived in recent years by Simon Brooke, great grandson of the founder John Grossmith and his family. Simon, Amanda and Kate were on hand to help give us a full tour and help us truly appreciate all the scents and collections from the Classic Collection and the distant worlds they evoke to the Royal Collection with scents marking special moments in history.

Alongside the sheer pleasure of testing all the scents and hearing the stories that inspired them I am now also much more knowledgeable about what makes Grossmith’s scents so special and different from the majorty of commercial fragrances. My homework is working out my absolute favourite and what works best for me. Then I think it will be time for another trip. Do go – perfume not something that you can fully appreciate until you smell it!
