Briffa Celebrates – Letproof – working to transform the world of renting and letting

Margaret was off on another Briffa Celebrates this week to catch up with internet entrepreneur Andrew Seymour.

Andrew’s Letproof platform is ‘the future of letting’ and puts landlords and tenants together cutting out the need to visit a lettings agency. The service seems bang on queue for ‘generation rent’ and sign up to the service so far particularly from tenants seeking their next rental adventure has been good. As a disruptive technology in an area where activity is increasing, cutting the cost and time involved in securing a tenant or a property in the traditional way, this is a start-up that is bound to do well.

Super busy Hub-Velo Cycles on Lower Clapton Road is another on trend business and was a great place to meet and enjoy a coffee together. The guys attended masterfully to several repairs and customer enquiries while we were there.

Overall a good afternoon out and looking forward to meeting Andrew again in a cycle shop/café in Budapest or Berlin soon.
