Ralph Wehrle
A partner at Briffa, Ralph has worked at the firm since its inception.Ralph is a partner with a wide range of experience in contentious matters covering most aspects of intellectual property rights. His practice encompasses advice on resolving disputes and where necessary litigation from urgent interim relief through trials to damage assessments. He has represented clients from the Trade Mark Registry through to the House of Lords and he has experience of domain name disputes under the ICANN arbitration procedure and anti-counterfeiting operations both in the UK and abroad. Ralph acted for the Claimants in the matters of Maltez v Lewis & Ors (film copyright) and Parker v Tidball & Ors (design right) and recently successfully defended the client in Lambretta v Teddy Smith & Ors, a copyright and design right action.
